SILS, or single incision laparoscopic surgery involves utilizing a single incision instead of four or five as you would
typically see. This single incision is placed in the umbilicus, and is far superior cosmetically. Patients tend
to recover quicker, have less pain, and are much more satisfied with the one incision.
To date we have done single incision gallbladder removal, appendectomy, sleeve gastrectomy, and Lap-Bands.
